Masland Library Visitor Policy
All library users are expected to abide by the Masland Library Polices.
Visitors are welcome to use the Masland Library during the following hours:
- Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
- Saturday & Sunday Closed
Who is considered a visitor?
- Adults without a current, valid Cairn University ID are considered visitors.
What is needed to access the Masland Library?
- Visitors must show a valid photo ID (driver's license, state issued id, etc.) to use the Library.
- Visitor Badges must be worn at all times and returned to the Front Desk prior to leaving.
What access do I have as a visitor?
- Visitors may use the library for a maximum of 2 hours per day and seating priority is given to current students. The university reserves the right to ask visitors to leave if space is at a premium.
- Visitors may not checkout any library resources, but are welcome to utilize print and most online materials within the library.
What access is NOT available to a visitor?
- Visitors are not permitted to use the Computer Lab or the Study/Meeting Rooms (these spaces are reserved for Cairn University students).
- Visitors do not have access to printing, copying, or scanning services.
