InterLibrary Loan (ILL)
InterLibrary Loan (ILL) is a service through which library materials not held by the Masland Library may be requested and obtained from other libraries for faculty, staff, and students.
Materials able to be requested:

Books - can be borrowed, generally free of charge, in their original form. After a request has been submitted you will be notified via email once the book is available for pick-up. Materials can be picked-up at the library front desk during normal library hours. Loan period varies depending on the lending library, but is typically 2-4 weeks.

Photocopies of articles or chapters - copies can be obtained physically or digitally. Copies of articles or chapters are provided free of charge up to 20 pages. Print copies will be available for pick-up at the library front desk normal library hours. Digital copies will be sent to your Cairn email.

Dissertations and Theses - many libraries will lend dissertations and theses, however there are generally more restrictions on length and type of lending.
Materials unable to be requested through ILL

Audio-visual materials - CDs, DVDs, phonographs, cassettes, films, filmstrips, videos, etc. are unable to be requested.
