Things to consider when scheduling an Information Literacy Session:

  • When is the best time to schedule an Information Literacy Session for your students?
    • About 1 month prior to the research assignment due date.  When students see the immediate need for the session they will generally remember and get more out of the session.
  • Please schedule Information Literacy Sessions at least 1 week in advance.
  • Include the following information:
    • Approximate number of students
    • Assignment descriptions
    • First and second choice of dates
    • Class meeting time and location
