There are many laws and regulations that have been put in place in educational systems to maintain order and responsibility. Generally, one thinks of education laws as primarily impacting public schools. However, the HG.org website states that "Education Law is the area of law that relates to schools, teachers, and the rights of Americans to a public education, as well as standards for those students who attend private schools." (emphasis added). Therefore, it is important that governing bodies and administrators of Christians K-12 schools are conversant with them.
